We strive to provide professional, trustworthy & reliable in-home pet sitting for pet owners in the Hickory & surrounding areas. We treat your pets as if they are our own and know how stressful boarding your pets in an unfamiliar environment can be. Our goal is to take the stress out of travel knowing your pets are well cared for in their own familiar environment.
As a Hickory native herself, owner Jenna Newcomb grew up working for her family pet sitting business started by her mother, Beverly Brock, in 1988. Growing up she and her sister would accompany their mom as she took care of pets, and as an adult, Jenna worked alongside her mom to help run the business. As a child, she recalls there was never a time when there were no pets in the house, and over the years, many beloved pets have been a part of her family. After a difficult decision to close the business in 2021, Jenna has reopened the family business under the same name to carry on the legacy of over two decades of trusted in home pet sitting in the Hickory area. Now with two kids and two cats at home, Jenna is continuing to share her love of pets with her own children, and the community by offering her services in the place where she works, lives, and loves.
We provide a variety of reliable pet services to cater to the unique needs of each pet and their owner. Our offerings include dog sitting, mid-day dog walks, and overnight stays. Alongside pet sitting, we also specialize in house sitting and indoor/outdoor plant and garden care. We care for dogs, cats, fish, birds, gerbils, bunnies, and other small pets. Do you have a small hobby farm with goats, chickens, or horses? We can provide care for those animals too, with some exceptions. For specific inquiries, feel free to call us. As a fully licensed, bonded, and insured pet care provider in Hickory NC, you can rest assured that your pets and home are in good hands with our trusted pet sitting services.
